I have deleted a calendar item in my EW client. Actually by mistake.
But I do not see any option to undo that? Is that option available within EW-Client?
And if so, how does that work?
Or is it simply not possible to recover the deleted calendar items…

When you delete a calendar entry “near the bottom of the calendar window” similiar to when you delete an email you will see “for a few secs” an Undo calendar event banner appear. After that then there are ways to restore it.
So if you have been using a Local Calendar and you have been doing regular eM Client backups, either via the automatic periodic backup in Settings or regular manual backups via the Menu, then you can just restore your most recent backup when you know the event was there via “Menu / File / Restore” and then continue on from there.
However if the calendar event is a server based IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud calendar , then (unless your calendar host technical support can restore it), is by doing a Partial Restore either via the backup and restore option or via the hidden database folder.
