Default email setting not working

I’ve noticed lately that my emails are coming from my alternate email instead of the one I have marked as the default. I have verified that I have my main email set as default and that it is first in the accounts list, yet every time I do a new message it defaults to my secondary email address. Any words of wisdom to fix this?

With the default settings, it depends on which folder you are in when you start a new message. If you are in one of the secondary account folders, it will use the secondary account for sending.

But you can change that in Menu > Settings > Mail > Compose:
