Default email account not showing in send options

Hi. I have a number of email accounts set up in eM. One of them is set up as my default email address for sending and correctly shows in bold in the Accounts list. Despite this I am now unable to send from my default email because, when I start a new email, eM defaults to a different email address and my real default has disappeared from the drop down menu.list.
Everything else seems to be working properly, including receiving emails sent to my default address. Has anyone got any ideas of how to resolve this please? Many thanks.

If this is with a Microsoft account, so hotmail, outlook, live, msn etc. go to Menu > Accounts and click on the General tab for the account. Scroll down to Services and tick the AirSync option, then finally click on Save & Close.
