I tried to integrate the Google Calendar, but it failed. Now I keep getting a message that synchronization has failed. How can I deactivate the calendar synchronization again?

You can disable the Calendar in Menu>Accounts, in the General tab of the given Google account.
Just uncheck the ‘Google Calendar’ service and then click “Save & Close”.
If you tried to add the calendar as a subscribed Internet calendar, then you’d need to delete it from Calendar section (right-click>Delete).
