eMClient is a worthy replacement for the Outlook I’ve used since it was available, with an exception or two. The one that’s bugging me today is date entry, like for a new event. Outlook accepts almost anything, eMClient is a PITA. No shortcuts, like +3 for 3 days from now, unlike every other application in the world, tab does not move to the next entry “field”, like from month to day. Entry doesn’t work like the rest of the world either, saving and closing the form. Apparently only the left/right cursor works, which is non-standard in the extreme.
Come on guys, get with it. I create dozens of events and reminders every day, and each one is a pain. The days of a mouse click/dropdown being a good way to enter data was gone years ago. These kinds of enhancements would get me to the point of using the product as a replacement, instead of now and then.
