Cut and paste hyperlink in a document

when i cut and paste a hyperlink from a website, it pastes as text in my email not hyperlink. I then have to right click and click on “insert” then “link”. why can’t this be automatic?

I am not certain, have you checked the setting:

Menu ->Settings ->Mail ->Compose ->Default Paste Format ->Keep formatting

Are you creating HTML or Text email?

If you use Text format, it will not paste as linkable, just plain text.
If you use HTML format, it will paste as linkable.

Just did a quick test …
