Custom colours for text will not save

I have just installed em Client. When I want to write a mail using a custom colour, I can create the colour, but it will not save. Why is this this and how do get it to save the colour?

Hi Andrew,

When I want to write a mail using a custom colour, I can create the colour, but it will not save.

It will save in the draught of the email or when sending, but otherwise this is a per email choice.

In the mail font settings you can set a repeatable - preferred font or colour only in Read,
not in Compose  ( Menu > Tools > Settings > Mail >  )

Maybe the use of templates might appeal to you.

Menu > Tools > Settings > Mail > Templates and Signatures

                                                     Click  Mail Templates

Then click Add Template

Play around in this section - The choices are numerous…
I simply couldn’t show all screenshots here.

Save the template giving it a descriptive name using abbreviated terms.
and  assign  it to the appropriate purpose - New mail - Replies or Forwards.
Check my first graphic - above

You can create multiple templates for each category and when needed
select the appropriate template from the list.

Thanks for the reply, Peter - and sorry not to have got back sooner. I didn’t have notifications switched on!

When I go to custom colours, it asks me to define a colour. When I’ve defined the colour I click ‘Add to Custom Colours’ and it appears in the palette. However, it’s not saved there for when I want to use it again - which is the whole point of creating it. Surely it should do that?
