Critical errors, program won't open.

Everytime I try and open eM client, the eM client database check pops up saying that it wasn’t closed correctly last time. There is a red X that appears next to “checking for inconsistent data…” and it says “failed”. So I click on restore backup and it says, “The database location C:\blah blah blah\ contains one or more invalid characters. Please try a different one”. 

I’ve deleted my gmail accounts from eM client and started completely over. I’ve uninstalled, wiped everything related to eM client, and then reinstalled and readded my accounts. It works for one day then these errors begin popping up.

I’d really like some assistance with this considering eM client is the only email client that I love. I really don’t want to have to go back to thunderbird…
