I am a new user of the em Client.
A new caldav calendar created in “Accounts” is not visible. The only thing visible in “Calendar” is the default calendar and local folders.
What should be my next step because on the face of it this should be straigtforward.
If you do not have the correct URI for the CalDAV, the Calendar will not appear.
Who is the provider?
The provider is Namecheap. I have simply cut and pasted the URI from the properties of the online calendar.
In case anyone experiences this issue, I sorted it out myself. I was provided with a link like this from my CalDAV calendar:
In actual fact, EM Client only worked when I entered: https://caldavprovider.com:443/WebDAV/
Hi EMClient team, it would be nice if you could return a message when trying to add the calendar with the wrong address. It adds successfully, but no calendar is displayed in my list of calendars. I could have saved a lot of time with a message such as “no calendar exists at the URL provided”
It adds successfully, but no calendar is displayed in my list of calendars.
As your original caldav calendar url (added successfully) as you said, there is no way eM Client would know it’s a wrong calendar url. I don’t think you could even program / code it to tell either.
All that you can do is normally search the forum for other peeps who had the same calendar issue.
However in this case you figured it out anyway which will be great for other users with the same caldav calendar. Well done figuring that out.

I would suggest to contact your providor to dblcheck the caldav calendar url.
