Just upgraded to Ver 10 and was adding new contact. When I tried to load her photo the picture added was not in the right orientation. Original was perfect but when opened in EMC the photo was sideways?
Do not see any method of correcting the positioning? Is there anyway to correct or do we forget about adding avatars in the Contact profiles?

Probably because the Orientation entry in the Exif data attached to the image is causing it.
In Windows, I use the Irfanview app
Change the Irfanview options > settings > JPG/PDC/Gif > uncheck “Auto rotate image according to Exif info”.
Open the image in Irfanview, rotate it correctly.
Save as the image but uncheck “Keep original Exif data”
Use that image in eM Client
