Problem:
The History tab (communication history) on a contact is completely empty. The Attachments tab for the same contact shows attachments correctly — but only up to a specific date in early 2025. Newer attachments are also missing. Searching for the same email address in the mail view returns 22 results across multiple accounts.
Contact setup:
- Contact stored in: Nextcloud (CardDAV)
- Emails distributed across 2 IMAP accounts
Troubleshooting steps already taken — none resolved the issue:
- Changed email field type from “Other” to “Email”
- Removed duplicate contact from Google “Other Contacts” and re-synced
- Ran
MailClient.exe /dbrepair - Repaired IMAP folders (Right-click → Properties → Repair)
- Verified “Download messages for offline use” is enabled on all accounts
- Restarted eM Client multiple times
- Manually synced all folders
Expected behavior:
History tab shows all emails exchanged with the contact — same as the search results show.
Actual behavior:
History tab: completely empty. Attachments tab: only shows attachments up to a certain date in early 2025, nothing newer.
