Contact Email show LegacyExchangeDN

Hi all,
I try to found an alternate to my outlook 2007 client connected to an exchange server and I found this great tool EmClient
But When I connect to my exchange server (2007 SP2) all the email contact appear like this : /o=XXXX/ou=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Recipients/cn=helpdesk
If I Have understand, it was a LegacyExchangeDN. In my research I’ve not found a solution and try an other client (Fo…ail) where the problem not appear.
Have you an idea on how I can resolve this.
What does I do wrong ? Thank’s for the answer if someone can help me.
Best regards,
Seb.

Hi, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact version number in Help > About? Can you make a screenshot of the issue and post it here on the forum?

Are you seeing some errors while trying to synchronize the account?

Thank you,
Paul

Hi,
Here a capture of the version and an other of the contact. In the contact all information (name, phone number, …) are good except the email address.

Thank you,
Seb

I have activate the log in Account->Diag->OfflineAddressBook but the log file is empty. I have just this line in the sqlite logfile :
01/20/2015 08:27:57 1 no such table: mail_fti.AddressIndex_stat
01/20/2015 08:27:57 1 no such table: mail_fti.SubjectIndex_stat
01/20/2015 08:27:57 1 no such table: mail_fti.LocalMailsIndex3_stat

Hi, I’m afraid this might be a server issue, is this your offline address book that you’re having issues with or is this one of your contacts folders available on the exchange server?

I was unfortunately unable to replicate the issue, but can you please try to right click the contacts folder you’re having issues with and select Properties > Repair and click on the “Repair” button?

Thank you,
Paul

It is from the contacts folders from the exchange server and I have already used the “Repair” button. I have already remove all the profile, in the client and in the AppData-> Roaming to start from a fresh config. When I write a new email, the to field suggest the right email (certainly from the global user list from the server) and the wrong one (from the contacts folders).

Hi again, can you please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable Exchange Web Services logging for the problematic account?

  1. Save the settings
  2. Restart the application
  3. Replicate the issue
…Use the Repair option to replicate the issue and resynchronize the Contacts folder, after you do so and the issue still persists, please navigate back to the advanced settings window and submit the logs to us using the “Send logs” button, please submit the logs to my email [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.

Thank you,
Paul
