Constantly getting an error "Connecting to 'email address' failed"

I have using em Client with my gmail account. It is constantly giving me the error:

Constantly getting an error “Connecting to ‘email address’ failed”

I am using the em Client behind a proxy sever which requires authentification, but haven’t found any place for proxy setting in em Client. the Version I am using is 6.0.21015.0.

Please help!!!

Hi Lijun, eM Client unfortunately does not support proxy authentication, unless you’re using windows credentials for authentication you won’t be able to use the application with your proxy setup.

Thanks for this. I am using windows credentials. But still get this error message. Any solution?

If you’re using windows credentials for authentication, please send me an email to [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.
I can send you a configuration file that will allow you to use the windows authentication.
