I’m not sure what happened… but all of a sudden my “reminders” that pop up every once in a while has gone berserk… it’s popping up every 5 seconds! Even after closing it, it pops up after 5 seconds! I’m not sure what happened. The only temporary solution is to minimise it - coz closing would cause it to pop up again in 5 seconds…
Some help would be greatly, greatly, appreciated.
Best Regards,
Mark.
Hi Mark, what version of eM Client are you currently using?
What mail service are you using?
Hi Paul.
Thanks for taking the time to assist.
The Version is 6.02…
I’m using Yahoo and Gmail.
The funny thing is that this weird and berserk pop-ups have suddenly stopped.
I’m not sure what to do now…
Guess I’ll update you on this channel if there are any re-occurrences…
Would that be ok?
There’s one funny thing which doesn’t fail to happen as soon as i start EmClient is this funny log which i’ve attached.
But as soon as i close it - it doesn’t appear again - therefore not a big problem…
If there’s a fix pls let me know…
Best Regards
Mark.

Hi Mark, is the error displayed for your gmail or for yahoo account?
What version of eM Client are you currently using?
I’m glad the original issue stopped occurring, but if you come across this or any other issue again, let us know, we’ll be happy to help.
Thank you,
Paul.
Hi Paul, thanks for the quick reply.
The version is 6.020648.0.
And it was for Yahoo mail.
By the way that small issue still persists and the other berserk problem hasn’t re-occurred again. (Thank the Lord!)
Thanks again Paul.
Mark.
Hi again Mark, can you please make a screenshot of your Calendar/Contacts setting for your yahoo mail?
Go to Tools > Accounts > Your Yahoo account > Calendar/Contacts.
Thank you,
Paul.
Hi Paul,
Lots of strange things are popping up every now and then.
-
The crazy pop-ups were happening again and then it stopped…
-
This weird one - "Failed to upload item “Tarry Meeting” is also coming up.
Should i go to yahoo/google and delete them?
3)OR Should I just Re-install and perhaps you help me from there? sigh…

Hi again Mark, please change the CalDAV URL under Calendar for your yahoo account to:
https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com
And your CardDAV address under Contacts to https://carddav.address.yahoo.com
Based on this setup: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/yahoo-account/SLN5729.html
Keep using your identity credentials and make sure that the “authentication” under the General tab uses “mark_ninan” as Login name instead of using it in [email protected] format.
Right click your calendar folder and select Properties > Repair and click on the Repair button, this should only download all the events in your calendar that are available on the server and remove everything that’s not on the server.
Hope this helps,
Paul.
Hi Paul,
Did what you said for the first 2,
But where do you go to click the “repair button”? Do apologise but could you direct me to where that is please?
Just as I said, right click the Calendar folder where the problematic event is located and select Properties > Repair and there you can see the “Repair button”.
Hope this helps,
Paul.
