Do you have the thread where you previously had that specific error “Exception of type ‘MailClient.Protocols.Common.HttpResponseException’ was thrown.”, as this is a very unusual error message to be getting.

Also does this happen when you are also sending mail or only receiving mail ?

Ps This sounds more like a eg: Microsoft “Web Server related error” and not really local client related.

Both send and receive are not working.

Both send and receive are not working.

As you cannot send and receive and have the latest version of eM Client for Windows and just suddenly started getting that error, first check with Microsoft tech support via ph or website to see if there is any current mail server problems. Could just be a server related issue.

However If no Ms server related problems, then suggest to try restoring a recent dated eM Client backup via “Menu / File / Restore” and see if that resolves it. Could be something has changed in your local eM Client acct setup somewhere.

Now if the restore didn’t make any difference or you don’t have any eM Client backups, then suggest to try “removing and re-adding your Outlook / Hotmail account” via the automatic email wizard in “Menu / Accounts”.

Lastly if removing and re-adding your Outlook./ Hotmail account makes no difference, then could be related to some optional local program installed possibly interfering like an eg: Firewall / Security program, or optional Antivirus program or VPN. So if you have any of those, try completely disabling those to test.
