I have just started using EM Client with GMail and Thunderbird. Same error, seems little to nothing has been done???

What exact error are you getting when connecting to Gmail ?,

Click the dropdown arrow on the right of Refresh top left and click “Show Operations”. Then click the “Log tab” and see what error messages are showing and paste them in this thread

Also what version of eM Client are you currently running ? Also are you using Windows or Mac & what OS version do you have.

Looking at these Google errors, the OAuth token from Google is not authenticating due to eg: maybe issues with some resident program possibly interfering with eM Client, or the Google OAuth token is corrupted in some way, or your OS being outdated & unsupported needs updating.

So first go into your Google account “Third party apps” and remove any eM Client tokens and then try removing and readding your Google Gmail account in eM Client via the automatic wizard.

Make sure near that end of the eM Client automatic account wizard “that you click allow on the Google popup” to give eM Client access to your Gmail account. Also at the top of the browser at the end you will normally also see a checkbox to allways open eM Client.

Now If you have already done that and still the same issue, then if you have any eg: optionally installed firewall / security programs, optionally installed antivirus programs or VPNs, try completely disabling those to test.

Failing that you would more than likely need to updates to Min Windows 10 with all the latest patches and then add your Google account again. Alot has changed in the OS since Windows 7 was released and it could be you are missing stuff in the OS that is needed for eM Client V9.2.
