So I now have had this Connection Failed problem on eM Client for almost a week. I cannot connect to my hotmail or gmail account. I just get this warning sign next to both emails and it says:
"Connection failed
An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Please check the settings or click on the warning symbol to try connecting again."
I tried deleting and re-adding both accounts, don’t work. I checked same kind of problems and but didn’t find anything conclusive.
Hmm… Turning off the antivirus software seems to do the trick. Although I don’t get it why. eM Client is added to the exceptions and it hasn’t stopped it working before.
