Are you using Dynamic DHCP or PPPoE? Either than DHCP there will be such option. If not I suggest you to do a firmware upgrade on your router.

DHCP is already selected and there is no such option other than Save settings. Firmware already is latest offered by Dlink.
DHCP does not require dialing, you are always on the net unless router switched off. I don’t know why you have such problem then. Do you mind post a screenshot of the error by eM Client? I also advice to check router’s log see if there’s any irregular activity.
If it not the router I can only think of Vista. Do you have the latest service pack?
Dialing? No idea where the discussion had anything to do with dialing. Anyway, my thinking is this is an annoyance caused by the Em Client because this error does NOT HAPPEN with Windows Mail or Outlook. It also does NOT happen while the computer is busy when using Em Client; it ONLY has something to do with being idle.

Vista 64 with power saving feature turned off. After clicking the option to generate logs, the client got scared and has not been producing the error dialog for the last 48 hours.
