On the eM Client pricing page it says that a Personal license for a One-Time Payment and Lifetime Upgrades is $149.95. The page states that the license is for a “Single user with up to 3 devices”. Does that mean I can use the client on one computer for myself, one laptop for myself, and one computer for my wife, or does it mean I can only use for my personal account on three different computers? There is no further explanation and the wording is not clear.
The reason I am asking is because I started testing eM Client a couple months ago and I really like it. I have retired from 30 years in IT and using MS Outlook exclusively. No one supports the older versions of Outlook and Micro$oft wants an insane amount of money for the latest version. What I need to do is simple - I need a mail client on my PC, my wife needs a mail client on her PC, I would like a client on my travel laptop. The Personal License for three devices seems to fit that need, but I have read some rather cautionary posts in the Forum and I am a bit confused and nervous. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

The personal license allows you to install eM Client on 3 devices (any computers) with the one personal single license key. That can be any combination of pc or mac desktop, laptop computers.
As far as I’m aware, you can add whatever personal accounts you like on any of these installations “as long as it’s for non business use” as per the license model extract below. If that’s not correct support will update this thread.
So if you add your wife’s personal email account on one of your 3 installations it will work but the License will be activated under your name.
The Personal license provides helpful features for users to improve their productivity and manage their emails. The Personal license can be activated on up to 3 devices.
The Personal license is intended for home useand for freelancers or sole proprietors. It cannot be used in companies, schools, non-profit organizations, governments, or any other institutions, even if you are just an employee. In these cases, a Business license is required.
The page for pricing plans says the Personal subscription is " For single user with up to 3 devices". So you aren’t really supposed give one of the three to a spouse.
