ciao,stavo per configurare la posta su un nuovo pc,su quello vecchio l’account e’ POP3,ora io vorrei configurare la posta su em client con il protocollo imap,ogni volta che provo il server non risponde o mi chiede una nuova password,se configuro em client col protocollo POP3 funziona perfettamente.Cosa posso fare?

To setup your account as IMAP you can do that two ways.
Either via clicking "Add Account and entering your email address and following the prompts, or by clicking “Add Account / Mail / Other” and then “selecting IMAP” and entering your details.
So all depends if your mail server supports the automatic mail account setup, or if you have to manually setup with a username and password.
Also if you are manually setting up an IMAP account “some mail servers” also require you to use an eg: App Password generated by your online mail account, so if you get an invalid password when setting up that could be why.
