I have 2 accounts and i want to use smart folders but i have to see the account an email has been sent to! Even if i add the account column i can’t see anything if i use the compact layout
is it possible to see it?

In the compact layout, please look at the top of the message list, you will see ‘Sorted by …’ option. Click on the parameter that it is currently sorted by and select ‘Accounts’.

if i select “order by accounts” the messages of one of the 2 accounts will be very very far on the bottom. i would have to go down a lot to see them. i want the messages to be ordered by “received” but i want to see to which account the message has been sent to
PS: i tried what you said and eM crashes every time i select “by account”
