Client sending multiples of the same email at once

For the past two days, at least once per day, when I send an email, it sends more than once. Yesterday, it sent the same email to the same recipient 7 times. Today, it sent another email 3 times.

It’s not the same email each time.

I currently have a company gmail account (uses our domain for the address) running through eM Client. I checked the forum prior to this post, but nothing I saw really addressed this issue. It’s not someone I’ve recently added; I’ve had this person in contacts for years. I am not brand new to eM client; I’ve had it running since May or June. This issue happens immediately with nothing hanging up or saying it can’t be sent. I get no notification this is happening other than the recipient calling me to say how many times she’s gotten the message.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know of a potential issue that could be causing this or a fix?
