Thanks CyberZork. It’s the scenario when I manually check for updates Menu > Check for Update and when there is no update available. In that scenario, eM client gives no indication that it is or has checked for updates… It would be useful, and reassuring, for a prompt to appear “you have the latest update” or “you are using the current version”. Currently, I don’t know if the Check for Updates has worked or not and I generally try it several times to make sure I’ve initiated it correctly.
For instance, this is the message in another piece of software when I check for updates. This tells me I successfully checked for updates but none are available at the moment.
