When checking events on calendar, if the title of the event is too long, the title won’t be shown completely even if you hover your mouse on that event and the detail message box appears. Now the only way to check the event is to open that event by double clicking. But now eM client would ask “Which occurrence do you want to change”, if it happens to be a recurring event.
I suggest it behave like the Google web calendar where “Which occurrence do you want to change” question is posed after the user actually makes a change, rather than posed before the user tries to open the dialogue window to look up the event details.
Moreover, I suggest the events on, for example, week view can be selected by pressing “up/down/left/right” key. This should make it easy to navigate among events.
