Check for updates (eM Client menu) does not work

Hello,
Check for updates (eM Client menu) does not work…
Example: I have version 9.0.1317. I request an update search. eM Client tells me that there is none.
If I check in the history, I see that a version 9.0.1361.0 exists.

Updates are not offered to all users at the same time when using Check for Updates.

Also, some updates are available in the Release History that may not be pushed to all users either.

Does it mean that we need to download the new installer and install it over the old version in order to get the update?

You can do that or wait until you are invited to update.
