Changing Font For message Panel

Is there a way to change the font size for the message pane in Mail? When I refer to message pane I mean the message preview or body. I have the message body on the right of the message list.
If I select ‘Customize current view’ I can’t seem to find a font setting for the message body.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Tools - settings - Mail - read - Preferred Style.

But it works on plain text messages only, if anyone will send you anything with html formatting it will be seen as he sent you to it.
