Change the size of the font on the preview panel.?

I often read my emails on the right hand panel without actually opening the email. I would like to change the size of the font on this “preview” panel. I have changed the setting for the fonts on the emails I send but I cannot find how to change the size of the font on the preview panel.

There is a setting in Menu > Settings > Mail > Read > Preferred Style:

Generally that only applies to plain text messages, and HTML messages where the font has not been specified.

If it is easier, you can zoom into the preview pane using Ctrl +. Zoom out using Ctrl -, and reset using Ctrl 0.
