I also want to share a small tip to anyone using our current aliases:

Quick Add Alias

Maybe not the solution you need exactly, but there is a new quick way to add aliases from the compose window. If you hover over a specific account in the FROM selection and press CTRL+N you can quickly add any missing (or even new) aliases.
