When I click on a message in the message preview, a little trash icon appears to the right of the message. Is there any way to turn the default “Delete” action into “Archive”?

No that i know if, but you can simply just press A for archive as a shortcut key

That would a very useful functionality, to prevent accidentally deleting email. How can the request be added to the sleekplan, please?
