Category tabs on desktop and mobile differ

Hello, I have just switched from Postbox. Overall I’m pleased with how things are working but notice that the Categories tabs (Primary, etc) differ on mobile and desktop. e.g. primary on desktop displays 5 emails; on mobile the Primary tab displays 34 mails.
I was expecting my settings to replicate. Please can someone clarify whether this is a bug or a feature (i.e. someone may want to filter the tabs differently on the email client).

Hi again, is the behaviour I have described right?

To summarise: When I select emails in my inbox and assign a category, e.g. Updates, then I would expect this assignment to work in eM Client irrespective of the device I used to make the assignment.
