1. How can I add a new contact to a category?

  2. My contacts in Windows Live Mail were transferred to eM-Client with their Original category. In the contactlist of eM-Client I can see those Original categories. If I add a new contact the original categories are not shown.

Right-click on the contact and choose Categorize, or when editing the contact, the third field is Category.

At ant time you can go to Menu > Tools > Categories where you can edit existing categories or add new ones.

Thank you for your help, but If I try to use this way, I get categories like WORK, School, etc. I don’t get the categories iriginally masde in Windows Live Mail, like the names of groups.

Go to Menu > Tools > Categories and add the same categories you used in WLM.
