while testing the em client, I try to sync distributionlist’s/groups with carddav to an egroupware-server (egroupware.org).
The listcreation at em client is ok, also at the egroupware server a new distributionlist could be found. But a new sync deletes the list at em client, the distributionlist won’t come back from the server to the client, only the contacts are in sync…
I found a workaround, creating a local distributionlist, with members of the carddav-server, so that contactchanges has only be done ones.
The problem -> another client will not get this list/group information
Is this a problem of the server or of the client?!?
Hi Jurgen, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About? Can you please try to update to this release and check if the issue persists, http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.21364/setup.msi ?
If it does, please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on CardDAV logging for the problematic account,
Save the settings
Restart the application
Replicate the issue
If the issue reoccurs, please go back to the advanced settings window and submit the logs to my email ([email protected]) using the “Send logs” button. Also please include a reference link to this forum topic when submitting the logs.
