When I try to send email, the file just stays in my outbox and I get the following message:


I added mailclient.exe to mcafee exceptions and it still won’t work. I’m at a loss. Love the program, but if I can’t get it to work, I’ll have to try some other client.
Hi Scott, seems like something is blocking the connection between the client and the server or your server doesn’t respond to the application’s request, please make sure no security elements are blocking the connection and try to turn off your McAffee filter completely and check if the issue persists.

Thanks for the quick response. I talked with my IT group and our company blocks outgoing mail. I’m going to try once I get home. they tell me if that’s the issue, it should work from home. thanks.
