can't send email from an alias email address

eM Client  has worked GREAT for me!  Really trouble free!

Today I am having a RARE problem.

I have been unable to send email from my main/default account using an alias email address.

All other aspects of eM Client are working.

I tried restarting eM Client.

I tried re-installing eM Client.

I have not recently changed any settings.  I can’t find any settings that look problematic.

(Note: I have noticed some intermittent ‘sluggish’ behavior from eM Client during recent weeks.)

Some helpful information:

I also have some Log information in a text file but I don’t see how to attach/send it?

Hello Rob,

Does the problem remain? If so, I’d recommend re-configuring the account in Menu > Tools > Accounts. Since your Yahoo account is set as IMAP, you don’t need to worry about your data.

The problem remains.  

I have had a test message sitting stubbornly in my Out-box for the last several days.

As a work-around I have been using my alias address directly through its Yahoo email web interface.

By re-configuring, do you mean basically removing/deleting the account and then setting it up again as a ‘new’ account?  I guess it would take some time for the data to re-sync?

See my settings for my aliases below.  I’m not sure why i have “Use the following aliases from linked accounts” checked off.  I’m not sure of what that means.  Maybe it is not important/relevant here?

Just now things suddenly and spontaneously started working.  Emails in my Out-box were sent!
