Just installed eM Client today, I have three email accounts working fine but cannot get ntlworld to receive/download messages. I have tried setting the account up manually using the settings from the Virgin (ntlworld) website and letting eM client set up automatically. I have also run the diagnose function followed by the fix function. This eventually says ‘settings have been fixed’ but although I can send I still can’t receive, so it seems SMTP is ok but I have a problem on the IMAP settings. Any ideas please?

have you tried changing the security policy manually in the IMAP tab in Tools>Accounts section?
Try setting it to the SSL legacy setting.
