Can’t open any attachments, get this error message; Error occurred when saving the attachment; could not find a part of the path “C:\Users\Fredric\AppData\Local\Temp\eM Client temporary files\Q1ds05ns\United.docx”.
Hi, what version of eM Client are you currently using? Does this happen with every attachment you try to save or with just this particular one?

Hi, can you please describe the situation that leads to this error?
Do you double click the attachment in order to view it, or do you right click it and select Open attachment or maybe a different way you might be using?

I installed eM a few days ago, imported messages and found out unable to open att’s. Double click as well as right click, same error.
Hi, we believe the issue might be caused by an improperly set user privileges for the Temp folder. Please try to navigate to the Temp folder and try to change the user privileges…

It seems to me that eM Client does not have a temporary folder for files in the the temp folder. Shouldn’t the eM Client install that automatically when installed?
Hi again, sorry for my belated reply, that might actually be a part of the issue. If the folder’s properties have permissions set to not allow this for eM Client, the application can’t create the folder.
Try to check the folder permissions…
