Hello, in the past I thought that I could cut and paste small spreadsheet extracts and insert them as functioning tables into the body of an email. Now it seems data I cut and paste is just a picture and so can’t be so easily edited. I think the same is happening to tables people are emailing me - they arrive as just pictures?
Is this now only available functionality in the paid-for app? I have the free version.

I don’t know what version of eM Client you have, but yes from what i remember using eg: V10.4.5674 i was previously able to paste spreadsheets with tables intact into a compose window from eg: Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel Web versions & Libra Office offline version.
Testing V11 Beta, you can certainly copy and paste spreadsheets directly into eM Client compose windows and edit the table cells etc using the latest V11.0.473 Beta for Windows and Mac.
So if your happy to test V11 which is free till officially released, “first make a backup” of whatever version you have now via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when thats completed in Show Operations via the dropdown on the right of Refresh.
Then once backed up “close eM Client” and go to the following webpage Come test eM Client 11 BETA! | eM Client and “at the bottom of the page” you will see links to download and install / upgrade older versions of eM Client for either Windows or Mac to the latest V11 Beta client.
Thanks. I have a reasonably recent 10.4.5642 and it doesn’t work there now. I wonder have any app settings changed - I can’t see anything relevant?
..Without opening a big can of worms - a thread for another day - I saw an invite for a v11 beta which looked to be full of stuff I don’t need. So that is hassle which I can do without!
