I have emails in my in box it won’t let me delete. There are yellow dots beside them-Would appreciate any help
Do you get an error message ?
Also what version of Emclient do you have and are you using Windows or Mac OS.
The yellow (orange actually) dots mean that they are new messages.
It may be that there is database corruption or a sync issue. Right-click on the Inbox and choose Properties > Repair. If this is for a Gmail account, right-click on the All Mail folder instead.
Gary-I tried repair and it didn’t work-There is an orange dot beside the email and when I open it the message is blank
Is this an IMAP or POP3 account? You will see if you go to Menu > Accounts, there will be either an IMAP/SMTP tab or POP3/SMTP tab.
Gary, I have tried everything with no success. I have downloaded my good emails. Should I uninstall emclient and then reinstall. Thanks for your help
You didn’t say if you are using POP3 or IMAP.
Gary-the setting is set to IMap
OK, then what you can do is remove the email account from eM Client, then add it again. That will resync the account with the server and either the problem messages will not be there, or you should be able to delete them.
