Can't connect after loading and restoring new software on new computer

after downloading eM client and restoring my data from my old computer, I still can’t connect my email account. I tried running diagnostics and it says failed to connect to server. I also still get the red triangle that says failed to connect.

Have you deactivated eMC on your old computer?

yes I followed that article already and it still doesn’t work

Did you try disabling any anti-virus/firewall or VPN applications Before trying again?

Sometimes restarting the router also helps.
