Cannot update folders other than Inbox

I’m using eM Client 10.x. I have an account that uses EWS with Smartermal. Refresh will update the Inbox, but not the drafts folder. I have a draft email on the server that is more recent than in eM Client, but eM Client will not refresh the folder, and I have no idea how to force it to.

Try then “right-clicking the Drafts folder” and click “Properties” and click the “Repair tab” and run the repair as sounds like it’s got out of sync. That clears the local cache in eM Client. Messages will be just be slower to reread till fully cached again.

Apart from that, if it’s an IMAP, Exchange, Office 365 or iCloud account and nothing in Local Folders, then you might need to then “remove and readd the account” via “Menu / Accounts” which should then be identical to the server.

Lastly the other option you could do is “if you have been regularly backing up eM Client” either automatically via the Settings (Preferences) or manually via “Menu / Backup”, then you could also restore your latest backup via “Menu / File / Restore” and see if the Drafts are then the same as the server. Sometimes that is the quickest way to fix that if something has gone wrong locally.

That did re-sync the messages.
