For the past week or so I’ve had trouble getting and receiving my email from my mailbox on a domain on GoDaddy. No settings have been changed but I think that maybe eM Client was updated; I’m at v6.0.21040.0. Seeing these messages:
[email protected]: Connecting to [email protected] failed
[SMTP} An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?
[email protected]: Connecting to [email protected] failed
[POP3} An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?
[email protected]: Connecting to [email protected] failed
[CalDAV} An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?
I spent 30 minutes working with GoDaddy Support and my settings were correct. We did try some other settings, like forcing SSL, but nothing changed. I can see the mail using GoDaddy’s WebMail and I also get copies on my smartphone.
Please advise.
