Cannot send/receive email to my mailbox on a domain hosted by GoDaddy

For the past week or so I’ve had trouble getting and receiving my email from my mailbox on a domain on GoDaddy. No settings have been changed but I think that maybe eM Client was updated; I’m at v6.0.21040.0. Seeing these messages:

bill@pinkribbonfarm.com: Connecting to bill@pinkribbonfarm.com failed

[SMTP} An attempt to connect to bill@pinkribbonfarm.com failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check the settings?

I spent 30 minutes working with GoDaddy Support and my settings were correct. We did try some other settings, like forcing SSL, but nothing changed. I can see the mail using GoDaddy’s WebMail and I also get copies on my smartphone.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Bill @ PinkRibbonFarm.com

Hi Bill,
can you please make a screenshot of the error? Also when the error occurs, can you please switch to the “Log” tab in the “Operations” window, copy the content and post it here on the forum?

Thank you,
Paul.
