I was having problems with my account, so I set up a new one (for the same email address). I am receiving new emails on the new account. But when I try to send a new email, I get this message: “Message was not sent. There is no account set up. Please add an account first in order to send emails.”

Go to “Menu / Accounts” (Pc), or “eM Client / Accounts” (Mac). Then click on the Accounts / General tab and Scroll down to Services and check that “everything is selected” including Airsync.
If they are not all checked, enable them all and then Save and Close accounts and exit and restart eM Client. Then see if that then sends mail ok.
If still won’t send update what your SMTP “server settings” are. Blank out any personal details.
