I set my hotmail as IMAP, with SMTP: smtp-mail.outlook.com, port 587.
Emails are being received but not being sent…
Check that the security policy is set to Force usage of SSL/TLS for port 587.
Another thing you can check is that your anti-virus or firewall is not blocking the connection. Disable them and try again.
