Just installed emclient program. Tried sending test e-mail and Got msg: "Cannot send msg from field address not accepted. 5.7.1 authentication required. Help! It remains in Outbox.
Hi Gene, this unfortunately seems to be caused by incorrect settings of your account, please navigate to Tools > Accounts > Your Account > SMTP and check the option “server requires authentication”.
Also please make sure the setup SMTP credentials are correct or are set to to “identity credentials” in that case credentials setup on the General tab will be used for the service.
