Cannot search archived mail

I cannot search my archived mail. The client is automatically archiving all of my mail after 1 year. Now, any messages after 1 year cannot be searched! I am running version 10.3.2619. I have verified that the “Include Archive” checkbox is checked and have run multiple searches for things in the archive. I have even gone to the archive, found a mail, and tried to search for that same mail, no luck. I have searched names from e-mails, titles, and message content. 0 results.

How do I fix this, this is making my e-mail almost unusable. I need to be able to search old e-mails in order to reference past incidents. I have purchased a life-time license, but my support contract is expired, and I don’t understand how this is even an issue.

Try selecting “Custom Folder Selection” in the search field dropdown, and “make sure everything is checked including Local Folders” at the bottom left. As could be not everything is selected somewhere when you searched for archive emails.

Also make sure the search is checked on "Subjects, Sender, Recipients, Body, Notes and Attachments near the top of the search options.

If custom folder searching makes no difference, then “try disabling Use Server Search” and to see if that makes any difference as per below search documentation screenshots.

Also when you automatically archive email, the database might possibly eg: just take a little time till it shows all your archived email in the search “depending on how long ago the Automatic Archiving started”.

This fixed my issue. However, it’s a little odd that it did as the previous selection was “All Folders” with the archive checkbox selected. Regardless, I’m able to search my mail again, thank you!
