Cannot restore backup

after reinstalling eM CLient I wanted to restore may old data. I have a backup.zip.
but clicking on the logo left to eM Client on top the menue, the “wiederherstellen” is greyed out.
Using “wiederherstellen” in Menue > File>Wiederherstellen no backupfile ist found, although I navigated to the correct folder. It just don’t recognize the file …
Can you help me

Please go to Menu > Settings > General > Backup.

What target directory is specified there?

Take the backup zip file you have and move it to that folder using Windows Explorer.

Back in eM Client, go to Menu > File > Restore.

The file should be recognized. If there are more than one zip file in that folder, you will be given a choice of which to restore.
