This has never happened before. Can someone assist me please.
Could be some error in the application.
Close eM Client, restart your computer and see if there is any difference.
If that does not help, uninstall eM Client, making sure NOT to delete the database directory when asked, then download and install the latest version from the Release History.
Gary, many thanks for your suggestions. Having shut down and re-started the PC I found this made no difference. However this aberation seems only to affect one message, that from my daughter wherein she forwarded a message to me, re Covid, from her bank. I shall therefore keep your other suggestion in reserve in case the problem recurs.

I do not know which email id are you using like AOL, Yahoo, Gmail etc but if you are using AOL mail here you should read all AOL mail related issue and solution also AOL mail login
Thanks Anti, I use GMX mail provider. The problem seems only to have occurred with one email but I was concerned it might repeat.
