I use a tool to move the active window to my other monitor with a simple key combination. The tool works on every single application I’ve come across, except it fails for eM Client when it is maximised. Presumably the program is intercepting and discarding the messages to change size - please don’t do this!

Aha in fact the latest version of the tool solves the problem (I’ve checked the source code and it un-maximises the window, then moves it, then puts it back!). So this is no longer a problem for me, thanks.
