I am a brand new user. I have installed eM Client but so far have been unable to import my WLM emails. The accounts imported without a problem but I get the following error when trying to import the messages. “An error occurred when trying to import data: Access is denied” What am I doing wrong?
I’ve got exactly the same problem. Running Windows 10, imported from WLM and all the folders are there, the Inbox works (Gmail IMAP) but none of the thousands of emails (going back to 1994) are in the folders. Help!
seems like a strange issue, can you please try finding your Database folders (for both eM Client (C:\Users%windows user account%\AppData\Roaming\eM Client) and WLM(most likely C:\Users%windows user account%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail)) and make sure your permissions are not Read-only (right-click>Properties)?
