I can get em Client to down the folder titles but cannot get any emails to sync from my hotmail.com (now Outlook.com Preview). Trying setting it up 3 different ways and nothing works.

please try setting up your hotmail account in one way (preferably try the manual setup for IMAP, because Microsoft will be disabling AirSync soon) and then we can focus on finding the issue, I’ll need to see the log after you try to synchronize with your account. Setup your account, let it synchronize and check Tools>Operations>Log window and copy it’s contents here after it fails to download your messages.
